A Week in Buenos Aires, Argentina, trying to find some light, from August 31st to September 7th 2018.
After exploring the Salta province I decided to take a flight to Buenos Aires (the 17 hours of bus from Salta to Buenos Aires wasn’t very appealing to me and the flight was actually cheaper).
Here’s the full album.
First place I decided to visit was El Caminito area in the La Boca neighborhood, a lot of people said it was dangerous after dark, it does look a little sketchy after the sunsets, watch out if you go there. Some pictures of the colorful buildings:
After sunset:
The next day I walked around looking for a higher point of view of the city but didn’t find any, after walking around I found the Congreso de la NaciĆ³n Argentina building:
The next evening I was looking to photograph Casa Rosada in Plaza de Mayo but the area was on lock down due to political tensions, so I found a great point of view of the Obelisco and took some pictures:
Right after I was done shooting the Obelisco and started walking away, a protest march started to walk towards me :
The next evening I went Puerto Madero to shoot Puente de la Mujer which also had some art for the Art Basel Cities event, on the silos behind the bridge:
View towards the city:
The last I walked around the city visiting Art Basel Cities art installations and museums, here’s a shot of the Floralis Generica :
And a panning shot of a nice 911 :
